The IJ4000 is a large character printer for industrial product marking. The specialist for porous surfaces of packaging or load carriers impresses with easy handling and flexibility. Print images are managed either manually, directly on the device, or via your company network. This way you always have your labeling in view. The printing system consists of three main components: Printer, Controller and Display. It is flexibly expandable and can accommodate 1 - 4 print heads - depending on the requirements your printing solution has to meet.

With the IJ4000, the first requirement for successful use is the material you want to print on: it should be porous/absorbent.
The IJ4000 is ideally suited for printing large fonts, codes and logos in high resolution (up to 300 dpi) up to a print height of 100 mm.
Examples include prints on typical secondary/tertiary packaging such as cardboard or wood.
The central element of the IJ4000 is always the ink distribution system with control - the so-called SmartIDS ("Smart Ink Delivery System").
You can operate up to 4 printheads (see table, IJ384E and IJ768E) on one SmartIDS.
In addition to the standard printheads for horizontal, straight printing (see table, IJ384E and IJ768E), there is a variant for printing in a horizontal, angled position and a variant for vertical (upside-down) printing.

- Print direction of each printhead (standard, angled, upside down)

In addition to the SmartIDS and printheads, you can choose the operating variant. You want operators to have a simple display right on the device? No problem, the IJ4000 comes in a standard package with the IJ4000 HMI.

In addition to SmartIDS, printheads and operation, we offer various types of installation on your line. Here we have different stand variants in the offer, eg. for fixing directly to your conveyor belt or for low-vibration floor mounting. During an individual consultation we can clarify your requirements.
Lastly, you will need the right ink for your IJ4000. You can get them from Diagraph in black, blue and red color variants. The ink (ScanTrue II) was developed specifically for use in the IJ4000 and comes as a 0.5 liter cartridge with each device in the starter package.
