The IJ4000 is a large character inkjet printer for industrial product labeling. It was specially designed for the porous surfaces of packaging or carriers and impresses with easy handling and flexibility. Print images are either managed manually, directly on the device, or via your company network. This way, you never lose track of your labeling. The printing system consists of three main components: Printer, controller and display. It is flexible and can be expanded to hold 1 to 4 printheads, depending on the requirements of your printing solution.

For successful application of the IJ4000, make sure to use the right material for printing: It should be porous / absorbent.
The IJ4000 is ideally suited for printing large characters, codes and logos in high resolution (up to 300 dpi) up to a print height of 100 mm.
Examples include printing on typical secondary/tertiary packaging such as cardboard or wood.
The central element of the IJ4000 is always the ink distribution system with control - the so-called SmartIDS ("Smart Ink Delivery System").
You can use up to 4 printheads (see table, IJ384E and IJ768E) on one SmartIDS.
In addition to the standard printheads for horizontal, straight printing (see table, IJ384E and IJ768E), there is one variant for printing in a horizontal, angled position and one variant for vertical (upside down) printing.

In addition to the SmartIDS and printheads, you can choose the operating variant. You want to have a simple display directly on the device for operation? No problem! The IJ4000 is available with the IJ4000 HMI as standard.

In addition to SmartIDS, printheads and controls, we offer different installation options for your production line. We can provide you with a variety of stands, e.g. for fixing the printing system directly to your conveyor belt or for low-vibration floor mounting. Finally, you need the right ink for your IJ4000. It is available from Diagraph in the colors black, blue and red. The ink (ScanTrue II) was developed specifically for use with the IJ4000 and comes in a 0.5 liter cartridge as part of a starter pack for each device.
