*UX2-D160 can be operated without (SL0) and with (SL1) Upgrade Key - this can be retrofitted at any time. An upgrade key activates extended functions (see table).

The new Hitachi UX2 reduces downtimes to a minimum: improved print head, catch electrode and safe-clean station ensure uninterrupted printing - even after breaks or longer stops.
At up to 435 m/min, the high-speed print head achieves maximum speed with consistently high quality. Thanks to Industry 4.0 interfaces (Ethernet, Modbus, OPC/UA) and NiceLabel compatibility, the UX2 can be seamlessly integrated into modern production lines.

Continuous inkjet printing is designed to produce product markings in large quantities and at high speed with minimal ink consumption.
The appearance of a CIJ print is "dotted", as individual drops are printed next to each other at a visible distance in order to achieve efficient marking. CIJ printing is mainly about content.
If efficiency is your main concern for the final printed image, CIJ printing and therefore Hitachi equipment is the right choice for you.
