Introduction and background
J.Oppmann AG, based in Würzburg, is the oldest Bavarian sparkling wine producer. As part of the continuous development of its production processes, the company was looking for a modern solution for marking its cartons. The aim was to improve the print image quality and produce the largest possible print image.

Requirements and selection criteria
The requirements for the new printing solution were clearly defined: Reliability, an excellent, large print image and user-friendly operation were paramount. The printer was to print hundreds of different print images for the various types of sparkling wine produced by J.Oppmann AG. These print images must also be provided with variable fields such as lot number and date in order to meet the specific requirements.

Project planning and implementation
Planning for the implementation of the ResMark 5000 began in January 2024, followed by a test phase in March. This test phase was successful and the device was immediately put into productive use. The integration of the ResMark into the existing production process was straightforward.

Cooperation with Diagraph
The decision in favor of the ResMark 5000 was made quickly, as J.Oppmann AG had already had positive experiences with the service provided by Diagraph. The cooperation was consistently positive: the fast service, the friendly contacts and the problem-free installation were particularly emphasized. These aspects made a decisive contribution to the smooth introduction of the new printing solution.

Success and employee satisfaction
Following the introduction of the ResMark 5000, J.Oppmann AG’s expectations were met in full. The print quality is excellent, operation via the PC is simple and the device is always available. The device is also economical in terms of ink consumption. The employees concerned are extremely satisfied with the new solution and appreciate the improved efficiency in their day-to-day work.

Operations manager Ralf Bäuerlein sums up the experience: “We are completely satisfied with the ResMark 5000. It prints in very good quality, is easy to use, economical and always available. We are also extremely satisfied with the service from Diagraph.”

Overall, with the ResMark 5000, J.Oppmann AG has found a solution that meets the company’s requirements and significantly optimizes its production processes.
